InBody 570 unit is a medical grade body composition analyzer that uses Bio-electrical Impedance Analysis or Bioimpedance Analysis method to derive it's results. BIA is a method of assessing your body composition: the measurement of body fat in relation to lean body mass. The InBody sends alternating electrical currents through the human body to measure impedance, deriving body water, fat free mass, and fat mass. Focuses on segmental fat and muscle. The InBody measures the body as a whole as well as the 5 segments: (right arm, left arm, trunk, right leg, left leg).
